Artist with the heart shaped glasses
Come as you are. Leave as art.
Loud colors. Sharp edges. Soft bodies. Beautiful trouble. Edie Rose's work exists in the space between the surreal and the sacred, where horror flirts with whimsy and discarded materials are transformed into something impossible to ignore. Inspired by a lifelong exploration of creative mediums and shaped by years of artistic mentorship, her paintings and portraits challenge traditional ideas of fine art while celebrating individuality, vulnerability, and self-expression in all its forms.
Working from Northeast Minneapolis, Edie creates with purpose. Every upcycled canvas, reclaimed frame, and bold brushstroke reflects a commitment to sustainability, accessibility, and community. Through her work as an artist, educator, curator, and nonprofit leader, she is equally invested in building creative spaces as she is in filling them, championing a future where art belongs to everyone, not just those invited into the room.
